Traditional, homely, bountiful and resolutely Mediterranean, the fare at Dar Enesma is lovingly prepared by Sonia, mistress of the property and mother of two adorable little girls. From breakfast in the morning to the optional evening meal, the dishes on offer feature the best of local ingredients grown either organically or with sustainable farming practices, using seasonal fruit and vegetables, locally-produced fresh milk and cheese, fish and seafood from the day’s catch, and tender meat from animals raised on the neighbouring farms. The recipes are Tunisian, sometimes revisited, often innovative and full of flavour.
